assalamu alikum ,
  shall i spent my zakath for building markaz(masjid) or purchase land for markaz(masjid)

Answer :

Zakat must be given in the ownership of a Muslim who is poor and needy.
Zakat money cannot be used for purchasing land or building of a masjid or markaz.[1]
