Which sibling is responsible to serve our parents?

Question Detail:

My wife has eldely parents who live on their own as no sons dont wish to live with them., her mother is blind in both eyes iand father is disabled. she also has 5 older brothers who are all married and settled down with their wife and kids. my questions is who is respobiable taking care of the parents?  
as my wife spends alot of time cleaning and maintenaing the house. surely isnt this the jobs for the 5 sons to do? as most of them dont work thanks to their parents, who given everything to them and left themselves short financially. now they survive  on their pension money given by the goverment. why is it up to my wife to cook and clean for her parents then they have 5 sons who arent bothered?
i havent confronted the 5 brothers regarding this matter as i would end up arguing with them and losing my temper. i just cant get my head around it, why is it left to my wife? i have questioned this to my wife but she says its her duty as a daughter and no one else wont care or take on the responisbility. please help

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The circumstances and situation you refer to is unfortunate. The sons should have a sense of responsibility and understand the gravity of the situation to serve their parents. Your wife should discuss the issue with her siblings and coordinate a system for all to contribute towards serving the parents.  Your wife should clearly explain to them their responsibilities and the challenges of her busy schedule and urge them to cooperate. If they (siblings) do not cooperate and the burden fall on your wife then, in that circumstances she cannot leave her parents especially when one is blind and the other is disabled. Your sabr and support will be most rewarding.
