Question Summary: Underpaid wages Question Detail:
The school where i work are not treating the staff properly, there is no ikram or anything what so ever. When it comes to monthly wages some staffwho are family members of the people running the islamic school are getting higher wages then other staff.
The minimum wage all staff should be getting in England is £6.30 an hour, this is the rule of the government. Yet they are paying me and other staff only £3.50 an hour.
We should be getting £605 a month but only get £360 a month. On the wage slip i receive they show the government that i work 16 hours a week and get £400 a month but in actual truth i work 24 hours a week and get £360 a month.
The people running it are moulanas so i dont like disrespecting them. Thee other staff also complain about this. They have talked to the headteacher about this issue, but they never take into consideration.
Allah also says in the 1st few ayats of surah mutaffifeen. So mufti sahib what should i do regarding this issue?
