Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Indeed Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is the final prophet and messenger. There is no prophet to come after Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. This is understood from the following verse and ahadith. Anyone who claims to be a prophet of Allah after Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam is an imposter.
Allah Taala says;
ما كان محمد أبا أحد من رجالكم ولكن رسول الله وخاتم النبيين
Translation:
"Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the apostle of Allah and the seal of the prophets (Ahzab 33:40).
In this verse Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has been described as the "Seal of the prophets" or the "Last of the prophets". This verse from the Holy Qur'an is the most definite evidence for the belief of "Khatmun-Nubuwwat" (finality of prophethood). The well-known scholar Hafiz Ibn-Katheer Rahmahullah writes in his book: "This verse is a clear evidence for this belief that there is no after prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. [1]
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said;
[1]وإنه سيكون في أمتي ثلاثون كذابون كلهم يزعم أنه نبي وأنا خاتم النبيين لا نبي بعدي.
هذا حديث صحيح. ] سنن الترمذي ت بشار (4/ 691
Translation:
“There will come after me thirty great liars, each one of them claiming that he is a prophet and I am the last of the Prophets; there is no Prophet after me.”
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said;
[2] "إن مثلي ومثل الأنبياء [من قبلي] ، كمثل رجل بنى بنيانا، فأحسنه وأجمله، إِلَّا موضع لبنة، من زاوية من زواياه، فجعل النَّاس يطوفون به ويتعجبون، ويقولون: هلَّا وضعت هذه اللَّبنة؟! فأنا اللبنة، وأنا خاتم النبيين" مستخرج أبي عوانة ط الجامعة الإسلامية (18/ 82)
Translation:
My likeness among the prophets is as a man who, having built a house put the finishing touches on it and made it seemly, yet left one place without a brick. When anyone entered it and saw this, he would exclaim, 'How excellent it is, but for the place of this brick.' Now, I am the place of the brick: through me the line of prophets has been brought to completion.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said;
[3«إن الرسالة والنبوة قد انقطعت، فلا رسول بعدي ولا نبي»] مسند أحمد مخرجا (21/ 326)
Translation:
"Apostleship and prophet hood have ceased. There will be no messenger or prophet after me."

(خاتم النبيين) يعني: آخر الأنبياء ختمت به النبوة، ولم يقل: وخاتم المرسلين؛ لأنه يحتمل لو قال: خاتم المرسلين أن يقول قائل: كل رسول نبي وليس كل نبي رسولاً، فيمكن أن يبعث بعده نبي، لكن عندما يسد الباب بختم النبوة التي هي قنطرة إلى الرسالة؛ فلا شك أن ذلك يتضمن أيضاً ختم الرسالة.
