Question Summary:
Should I fast for yaum al-arafah (9th Zhul Hijjah) at my destination if it is Eid at home?

I am living in qatar here arafath fast is on day of 14th oct 2013. iam travaling to india on 14th night and will reach there before fajar 3:15 AM and fajar is on 4:50 AM. In india 15th Oct is day of arafath , can i fast on that day (15th) or it is day of eid for me in which fasting is prohibited.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
You may fast in India on the 15th October, which is 9th of Zhul Hijjah there.[1]
