what is the ruling on security cameras inside the masjid prayer area? We have a small masjid where I go and the management wants to put cameras everywhere when I think it is only needed in the entrance and areas outside the prayer area. Is this right?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The management of the Masjid may place security cameras wherever they feel it necessary, whether it is inside or outside.
