Question Detail:

Is it allowed to make congregational supplication (dua) after quran study circle (tafseer or tajweed class).
I found out that it is not right pls answer me in detail

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh.
In principle, making du‘ā’ in congregation is a good and rewarded practice. Rasūlullāh (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:
لا يجتمع ملأ فيدعو بعضهم ويؤمن سائرهم إلا أجابهم الله
“No congregation comes together, one of them supplicating and the remainder of them saying āmīn except Allāh answers them.” (Mu‘jam al-Tabrānī al-Kabīr[1], Mustadrak al-Hākim)
This hadīth demonstrates the great virtue of congregational du‘ā’. Moreover, it has been recorded from the Sahābah that they made congregational du‘ā’ on a number of occasions.[2]
However, no fixed time has been specified in the Sunnah for congregational du‘ā’. Therefore, congregational du‘ā’ should not be performed in such a way that an impression might be created that it has a special significance on any specific occasion.[3]
We would therefore advise that if congregational du‘ā’ is made after the study circle in reference on a regular basis, it is left out on some occasions, and not performed every time, so the misunderstanding that it has a special significance at that time does not arise.
