Can a haiza write ayaat of the Quran without touching the page, e.g while putting another page in between?
Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for a haiza (a woman in the state of menstruation) to write verses of Holy Quran without touching the page; as long as her hand is not directly touching the paper. Based on this, it will be permissible to write verses of the Holy Quran after placing a sheet of paper between ones hand and the page on which the Quranic verses will be written. [i] [ii] [iii]
