Question Detail:

According to a kitaab it is in Ibn Madjah recorded from Abu Hurayrah that Nabi SAW said : whoever makes this dua: Allahumma inni as'oolukal afwa vel afiyata fid dunya wal ahirah, rabbana atina fiddunay hasanatan wa fil ahirati hasanatan ve kina azabannar, Allah has instructed 70 000 angels to say Ameen to this dua. Is this correct?

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The hadith in reference is found in Ibn Mājah:
حُمَيْدُ ابْنُ أَبِي سَوِيَّةَ، قال سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ هِشَامٍ يَسْأَلُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ الرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِي، وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ، فَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ:حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ  صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ  قَالَ: وُكِلَ بِهِ سَبْعُونَ مَلَكًا، فَمَنْ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ، قَالُوا: آمِينَ (ابن ماجه ج-٤ ص-١٨٢، الرسالة)
Humaid ibn Abī Sawiyyah said: I heard Ibn Hishām asking ‘Atā ibn Abī Rabāh regarding Al Rukn Al Yamānī (the corner of the Kabah before Al Hajr Al Aswad) whilst he was performing tawāf. ‘Atā said: Abu Hurairah narrated to me that Nabi (salla Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said, “Seventy thousand angels are appointed to Al Rukn Al Yamānī. Whoever says, “Allahumma inni asalukal ‘afwa wal ‘āfiyah fid dunyā wal ākhirah. Rabbanā ātinā fid dunyā hasanah wa fil ākhirati hasanah wa qinā ‘adhāban nār.” The angels reply with, “āmīn” (Ibn Majah vol.4 pg.182, Al Risālah)
