I would just like to know weather it is needed to make Wudhu whilst having a bath as you are already Purifying yourself by Bathing from head to toe so then do you still have to make Wudhu Also is it Permissible to bath with your husband or is it a ghunna, if it is a sin then is your Ghusal counted??
Answer :
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh 1. It is not necessary to make wudhu if one takes a normal bath. Those limbs that are necessary to wash in wudhu have been included in a normal bath. To make wudhu after taking a bath is wastage of water. It has come in a hadith: Ibn Abbas narrates the Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) has said, “Whosoever makes wudhu after taking a bath is not from us.” (Mu’jam Saghir & Mu’jam Awsat of Tabrani) Dar al-Mukhtar (1:156) H.M. Modesty is a very essential and noble characteristic in Shariah. The Prophet has said: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال الإيمان بضع وستون شعبة والحياء شعبة من الإيمان (متفق عليه) Abu Hurairah narrates that Nabi (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) has said, “There are above sixty branches of Faith and modesty is an important branch of Faith.” (Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim) One must try to bring modesty into every aspect of life. Even whilst bathing, one should try to adopt modesty. To look at the private parts of one’s spouse is permissible; however it is better to refrain out of modesty. Aisha (Radhiyallahu Anhu), the wife of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) says:
عن عائشة قالت ما نظرت أو ما رأيت فرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قط (سنن امن ماجه,مسند احمد, شمائل الترمذى) “I have never seen the private parts of Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam. (Sunnan Ibn Majh, Musnad Imam Ahmed, Shamail al-Tirmidhi) Rad al-Muhtar (6:366) H.M.
