Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Mashallah it is encouraging to see your consciousness of Deen.
Allah Ta’alaa says in the Quran,

{حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى} [البقرة: 238]
“Be mindful of the obligatory prayers and especially the middle one.”

Salaah is a fundamental component of a Muslim’s life. The importance of Salaah can be gauged through the numerous injunctions of both the Quran and Hadith about vigilance in upholding prayers. After our belief in Allah Ta’ala and His noble Messenger SAW the second most important injunction in our Deen is Salaah. On the day of Qiyamah the first thing to be accounted for will be Salaah. If the salaah of an individual is in order than all else will be in order, but if there are problems with ones’ salaah then this will have a rippling effect on all the other a’maal of an individual. As Muslims it is our duty to ensure all efforts are exerted in the performance of Salaah.

The five daily salaah are obligatory upon every sane, adult Muslim male and female. To learn how to perform the daily prayers is also obligatory. A considerable amount of effort is needed to learn about salaah. You should identify a knowledgeable person in your area and request him to teach you all about the five daily salaah. There are many books written on Salaah. You can use them as a guide and reference in your quest for performing a proper salaah. One book “Salaah of a believer from the Quran and Sunnah” by Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadhul Haq is a good tool in this regard. To be attracted to the opposite gender is natural. It is something Allah Ta’ala has created in the nature of man. It is a part of our makeup. As Muslims we have been given divine guidance in every sphere of our lives. It is a mercy from Allah Ta’ala that after creating a need he then teaches us the proper channel for its fulfillment. Just as with any other need that comes with divine guidance, the need to fulfill ones attraction towards the opposite gender also comes with divine guidance. When an individual becomes of age then Islam teaches us that we should seek a suitor/partner for marriage.
Pre-marital relation is something both alien and forbidden in Islam. The adverse effects of such relationships can never be over emphasized. Aside from the ill effects that these relationships bring to the individuals involved, there are countless wrongs and evils that stem from societies which bare such ideologies. The level of their degeneration in terms of morals and values, respect and honor for women are quite clear and can be seen all around us. One does not need to look closely to see how bad things have become in the so called progressive world. To the extent that even those who don’t believe in Allah and Deen have voiced their concerns.
Sister we advise you to immediately terminate all contact with this individual. Approach the elders of your family to find you a suitable marriage partner. Seek the assistance of Allah Ta’ala to help you in this endeavor. Inshallah with sincere intentions and the appropriate channels the assistance of Allah Ta’ala will be with you.
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
