Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life in all settings. Nursing entails taking care of patients in a wide variety of settings. It involves ensuring their comfort, assisting them in administering medication, and helping them in routine activities. These are all praiseworthy in Islam and were a common feature amongst the Sahaba. It is thus permissible for men to become nurses.[1] And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best Ismail Dawoodjee Student Darul Iftaa Zambia Checked and Approved by, Mufti Ebrahim Desai. www.daruliftaa.net Seerat-e- Mustafa page 210 Altaf & Sons Seerat-e- Mustafa page 219 Altaf & Sons
