Nike, Inc was founded on January 25, 1964, as Blue Ribbon Sports, and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1971. The company takes its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.¹
Nowadays. Nike products are seen as a global sportswear brand and does not refer to the Greek goddess. It is permissible to use Nike products.
