basically me and my husband we are having a lot of problems in our relatonship and he has ben having an affair with another woman which i know about and he doesnt come near me i.e no sexual contact and i am doing istikhara to whether i should stay with him or leave him im thinking we may have had black magic done just was wondering if you could give me more advice on what i should do....i am stuck because i dont want to live with a man who wants to stay away from me we dont have a proper husband and wife relationship

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
We make dua Allah grant you the courage to overcome your difficulties. Ameen
We advise you to contact a senior person from your family or your husband’s family and seek his intervention in the issue. Explain to him your feelings and state that you are currently conducting istikhaarah. Consider the advices given to you. This is a step by step issue and decisions are made according to the situation.
If you have already exhausted all avenues and you are unable to remain in the marriage, then you have valid grounds to ask your husband to issue you a divorce. If your husband turns down your request and refuses to issue a divorce, then you may request your local ‘Ulama for an annulment of the marriage. The ‘Ulama will consider your request based on the rules and principles of annulling a marriage.
