Q-1 CAN a poor person pay goverment taxes from profit money from bank or not?
Q-2 Is national saving profit on which the centre has deducted zakaat also can be utilized to run household expences when a person has less or in adequate pay to pay all the expences like electricity ,gas, telephone bills?
Q-3 is DSOP fund that is benovelent fund profit is halal or not as the profit rates varies evry year and not fixed?
Answer :
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1. if he has money in the bank on which he earns interest, in all probability, he won’t be classified as poor. However, if he is genuinely poor and someone else gives him Haraam money, he may utilize it to pay his taxes.
2. If he has savings, he should liquidate part of it and use it to pay his expenses. Haraam money cannot be utilized for these expenses. However, if the profit is Halaal and not classified as interest, one may utilize this income.
3. We are not aware of how this scheme operates and thus, unable to furnish an answer to your question.
