Salamu Alaikun,
Kindly reconcil the position in fatwa No.17855 and No.17962, particularly regarding to the role of Parents in Marriage of their children. 2) Could it means that going by Fatwa No. 17855 what is obtained by false pretence is halal, as in the false statement of the couple in that case to get their Nikka done which by the fatwa is adjudged to be valid.
