If there is some anti-muslim content being shown in the TV but when I am talking to someone I say its not anti-muslim but anti-Pakistan.
I do not mean this but say this to avoid embarrasment.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible for one to watch television. The statement in reference does not constitute kufar.
