1> Is it possible to do issal-e-sawaab for the living via deeds like namaaz , recitation of Qur'an etc. If yes then plz explain the process? 2> Can we do a deed with multiple intention ? e.g i am reading Surah Baqara & i want to take sawaab of its reading to my afterlife as well as i want that through this reading allah blesses me with barakah,aafiya etc.
Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. 1) It is permissible to do Īsāl-e-Thawāb of actions such as Salah, recitation of the Qurān, etc. for the living as well as the dead.[1] Before or whilst performing the action one may intend for the reward to be transferred to the recipient.[2] 2) You may make multiple intentions at the time of reciting the Qur’ān. فإذا جعل شخص ثواب ما عمله من ذلك لآخر يصل إليه و ينتفع به حيا كان المهدي إليه أو ميتا (البناية ج-٧ ص-٣٩٤،المكتبة الحقانية)
