Is it permissible to use Mannequins and Models for my clothing business? Question Detail:
What is the opinion of Ulema and Mufties in the light of Islamic teachings in the matter, that a person wants to run his clothing business through online retail platforms which requires the person to use live human model wearing clothes to be photographed and used for display of products online. So what is opinion regarding male and female models being used for such display. And if there are any restrictions, then what should be the permitted way to do business on these platforms by using human models. Also I want to ask another case with respect to this question that if male or female mannequin is used instead, then what is the opinion respectively.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is impermissible to use male and female models to take photographs and advertise your clothing products.[1]
It is impermissible to use a normal mannequin. However, it will be permissible to use a headless male mannequin.[2]
