Is it necessary to wash whole body during Ghusl?

Question Detail:

Assalam Alaikum.I wanted to ask you that is is compulsary to take full ghusl ( FRom Hair ) after SEX, or is it ok that we will take ghusl from body only ?pls revert.

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuhu
The necessary acts of Ghusl are to wash the entire body including hair, rinse the mouth, and rinse the nose. [1]
Note that if a female’s hair is plaited, she does not have to unplait her hair as long as water reaches the roots of her hair. [2]
