Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
If drops of urine are emitted onto one’s clothing before making Wuḍūʾ and they soil the clothing to an amount the size of the inner palm of one’s hand or less, thereafter such a person makes Wuḍūʾ, it is not advisable for him to perform Ṣalāh or lead others in Ṣalāh while wearing such clothing, although his Ṣalāh would be valid. He should clean the area that is soiled or change his soiled clothing before performing Ṣalāh or leading others in Ṣalāh.[1]
In the above case, if the urine drops soil the clothing to an amount more than the size of the inner palm of one’s hand, then one cannot perform Ṣalāh or lead others in Ṣalāh, as the Ṣalāh performed with such clothing in invalid.[2]
If a person makes Wuḍūʾ and thereafter urine drops are emitted, his Wuḍūʾ would be nullified. Irrespective of the amount of urine drops, a person cannot pray Ṣalāh in such a situation and neither can he lead the Ṣalāh as he is not in the state of Wuḍūʾ.[3]
It is necessary for males to make Istibrāʾ after urinating.[4] Istibrāʾ means to do any action that would allow the remaining drops of urine to come out of the urethra until one is satisfied that all the remaining drops of urine have been emitted. The most effective way to of doing Istibrāʾ is to place one’s fingers on the area just below the scrotum and press that area while moving one’s hand upwards. One should continue doing this several times, until all the remaining drops of urine are discharged from the urethra.
