Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh
 
If a woman is in her iddah, she can not go for Haj. This is irrespective of whether the iddah is due to the death of her husband or because of divorce. Therefore, she will have to go next year accompanied with a mahram.
