Eating food cooked by a Kaafir

Question Detail:

A non muslim friend of mine brought vegetarian food to eat. I know she doesnt wash her hands after using the toilet & only realised it after eating the food she touched. Does that make the food haraam?

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
 
If the food is completely vegetarian and there is no mixture of any haram ingredients in it including the type of oil used to cook the vegetable, then it is permissible to consume such food. A non-Muslim touching vegetarian food does not make the food impure.
