Does a Haji have to fulfill Udhiyya and Eid prayer?
Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
1. A Haji does not have to attend the Eid prayer.[1]
2. A Haji will have to observe the Udhiya sacrifice if he is a Muqim (resident) during the Days of Sacrifice. A Haji will be a Muqim if he intends to stay in Makkah for at least fifteen days prior to the rites of Hajj. It should be noted that Udhiya is not the same as Dam al-shukr. It is necessary for a Haji performing Tamattu‘ Hajj or Qiran Hajj to sacrifice a sheep in the Haram as an expression of gratitude to Allah for enabling him to perform Umra along with Hajj. In summary, a MuqimHaji performing Tamattu’ or Qiran will have to slaughter in observance of Dam al-shukr and Udhiya.[2]

وأراد بأهل الأمصار المقيمين وبالحاج المسافرين. فأما أهل مكة فعليهم الأضحية، وإن حجوا
