Can a haji smoke whilst in state of ihram?

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Smoking is not permissible and it is prohibited at all times, in ihram and out of ihram. [1]
However, if a haji is addicted to smoking and cannot exercise restraint, and he smokes during ihram, he will be sinful. [2]
He should make lots of tawbah and istigfar and make an attempt to quit smoking.
