Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
We could not locate a specific mention for the verse in question (Sūrah Al-Arāf, 10) being recited for owning a house.
However, Mawlāna Ashraf Ali Thānvi (may Allah have mercy on him) has mentioned that this same verse may be written for increase in one's sustenance (rizq). For this purpose it can be written on a piece of paper after jumuah salāh and kept in the home. [i]
