I want to know we bought our house on intrerest bearing loan. I was not aware of the fact that interest is haram in Islam before we bought our house. I want to know wheter is it permissible to live in this home or move out to an apartment where we just pay rent?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Your request for enquiring about an interest bearing loan is a sign of your Iman. Repent to Allah for engaging in the sin of interest.
It is permissible for you to stay in the house. However, you should understand that paying interest deprives one of barakah and blessings of Allah. If you rent a house, you will save yourself from the La’nat and curse of interest.
