Question Summary:
Rule regarding female discharge

Question Detail:

I am so confused about the ruling regarding female discharge. I get it almost all the time, meaning I make wudu to read Salāh and will probably get it within the first couple of rakahs I pray so for eg, the first four sunnat of Zuhr. But then sometimes I will probably get it in the last 2 rakat sunnah of Zuhr. I'm so confused.
Ive asked my local mufti before and he has said that it breaks your wudu everytime and u become mazur if u get it constantly. I dont know if i get it constantly. Its hard to check. What is constantly? Every 5/10 mins or literally every second??? But i know its almost constantly - very frequent. I can never go a Salāh time, nor complete for eg, Zuhr without discharging. Perhaps asr i can manage because it is short but not the rest. Also, I thought it is pure as long as it is white? But then I read the following - Fatwa#: 15878. Please explain

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Please clarify whether you have sufficient amount of time wherein you are able to perform ablution and observe a complete salāh without experiencing any discharge.

In principle, if you experience discharge without an interval of one complete time of salāh
Since you cannot pass a complete salāh duration without experiencing discharge, you will qualify to a ma`zūr. Firstly, you should try to observe if you qualify to be a ma’zoor or not. I.e. if the fluid flows out continuously for one full time of salaah (its easier to observe at Maghrib time, as it is the shortest time), and the flowing does not stop for  the amount of time in which you could make wudhu and perform the fardh salaah, then you will be regarded as a ma,zur. Once you become a ma’zur, you don’t have to make the abovementioned observation for all times of salaah, but you will remain a ma’zur until the discharge of fluid stops completely, and not a drop is discharged for one full time of salaah.
Hence, you are only required to make ablution only once for every time of salaah. Once you have made ablution for a particular salaah, you may perform any salah within the time or even perform all those rituals which required ablution. The discharge of liquid during this time of salaah will not break the wudhu, nor will it be necessary to clean the impurity. The wudhu will only break once the time of salaah has expired. For example, if you make wudhu after the time of Zuhr has set in, then your wudhu will only break on the expiry of the time of Zuhr. However, if any other act that nullifies wudhu (e.g. passing of wind, etc.) takes place, then the wudhu will break as normal, for you will not be regarded ma’zur in that act.
