Can I enhance the growth of my beard?

Question Detail:

The question again is i love beards a lot.And upon hearing that its sunnah to leave beards,i really appreciate it.but i dont have many yet,just a little.the question now is can i grow some using what is considered haram just for the purpose of getting the rewards?.

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Your eagerness to practice on the Sunnah and letting the beard grow is very pleasing. This is a sign of your love for Rasulullāh Sallallāhu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam. It is mentioned in a Hadīth:
“A person shall be (resurrected) with whomsoever he loves.”[1]
If your beard does not grow due to natural or health reasons, you are not blameworthy for not having a sunnah beard. Your intention of having a full sunnah beard is noble and you shall be rewarded according to that. You may use medication for enhancing its growth. However, it is not permissible to use any Haraam substance for this cause. [2]
