Question Summary:
How do I strengthen my Iman and increase my knowledge before Dajjal comes?

Question Detail:

I might be alive at the time when dajjal comes, so i need to be a strong beleiver and have lots of good deeds before dajjal comes because after dajjal comes, faith will not be accepted if someone didn't have faith before and no good deeds will be accepted after that.
Dont be angry please i have low emaan and low knowledge so please advise me.
And I alot of the times do shirk(major) and do kufr like disbelieving that the quran is the book of allah, or disbelieving in the hereafter and other things.
So what shall i do?
- shall i learn about tawheed and aqeedah. If so then what books shall i get? Also i would like to seek knowledge outside of home so how do i do this?
-and shall i learn arabic and memorise the quran to increase my faith in quran and hereafter?

Also I really would like to seek knowledge outside of home, so that i can be taught in the best of ways, do you recommend this? If you do then how do i seek knowledge outside of home.

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The coming of Dajjal is going to be a big test (fitna) for the Ummat. We have to strengthen our Imaan and guard ourselves against the fitna of Dajjal. However, we already face two major fitnas before the fitna of Dajjal. The fitna of our nafs and the fitna of Shaytan. If we learn how to overcome these fitnas,it will be easy for us to combat the fitna of Dajjal.
We advise you to join the Tablighi Jamat of your local masjid, and involve yourself in the effort of Deen. We also recommend that you adopt the company of the pious Ulama, and connect yourself to a spiritual mentor. These two methods are extremely effective in strengthening Iman, and in increasing knowledge as well as good actions.
Having the desire to study away from home, and to study Arabic and memorise the Qur’an is very praiseworthy. If your parents aren’t dependant upon you physically or financially, then by all means you should go to a Darul Uloom and quench your thirst for knowledge. If however, they are dependant upon you, then you can learn from a local Aalim while staying at home. It would be prudent to consult your parents and spiritual guide regarding your desire to study, and discuss with them the different possibilities so as to benefit from their guidance in this matter.
