Can one Walima be assembled by more than one person?

Question Detail:

Can my parents do the walima of me and my brother in one single occasion (same time, same place, same guests), will that me considered valid walimas for both their sons?
Will both me and my brother have fulfilled the sunnah of walima? My brothers nikkah was a week before the walima and my nikkah is a day before the walima.

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The purpose of having a Walima is to emulate the Sunnah of Rasulullah Sallahu Alayhi Wasallam. There were two characteristics of the Walima of Rasulullah Sallahu Alayhi Wasallam.
Firstly, it was after consummation and secondly, it was simple. There were no formal invites or formal preparation for food. Whatever was present was offered and whoever was present, was invited[1].
In order to get maximum Barakah from the Sunnah of the Walima, conduct the Walima according to the Sunnah. It is permissible to make Niyyat of two Walimas in one meal.
