Is it permissible to delay Zuhr Salah till the last moment before expiry?

Question Detail:

Can i delay luhar prayer untill asr? (Luhar prayered before Asar 10-15Min before) Because in my office people make stories when i go out. Even my boss is a muslim and he do the same. What i do it i go to masjid before asar azan 15 or 10 min before and do my luhar salah and do my asar with imaam jamath as well. Is it ok?

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The Salah in reference is pronounced as “Zuhr” instead of “Luhar”. As a Muslim, you should feel proud of your identity and values. Do not be ashamed of coming out openly to perform Salah on time. Nevertheless, in the circumstances explained by you, the Salah will be valid.[1]
