Question Summary:
Can I walk down the aisle?

Question Detail:

AA,I have a question about marrying a non-Muslim who will then convert (before the marriage takes place).I was wondering if it is permissible (as in, not haram) to do "walking down the aisle" thing along with nikkah and a reception. It wouldn't occur in a church or involve a priest or anything like that (i am not sure who it would involve, if it is allowed, i would appreciate guidance).Thank you and any help is appreciated

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible to “walk down the aisle” with a women as this is a salient feature in the weddings of disbelievers. In addition to this it also an act bereft of shame and modesty. A Muslim man tries to protect and conceal his wife, not publicly display her so all can see.
