Question Summary: Is a menstruating lady allowed to perform Tawāf Al-Ziyārah after the twelfth of Dhul-Hijjah? Question Detail:
I know that a woman can perform all the arkān of Fardh Hajj during her periods except Tawāf Al-Ziyārah. The Tawāf Al-Ziyārah can be performed from the tenth to the twelfth of Dhul-Hijjah. My question is that if a woman is impure in these days, can she do Tawāf Al-Ziyārah after these days and will her Fardh Hajj be completed? Secondly, can I send my uncle for Hajj on behalf of my late parents? Will it be considered Hajj-Badal even though my uncle has never gone for Hajj before? Thirdly, I am working in an IT distribution company. Is my income Halāl as I have to interact with males?
Answer :
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
1. A menstruating female must perform Tawāf Al-Ziyārah whenever she becomes pure. Her Fardh Hajj is valid. 2. It is better for one who has already fulfilled his Fardh Hajj to perform Hajj on behalf of the deceased. However, if it performed by one who has not yet fulfilled his Fardh Hajj, the Hajj on behalf of the deceased is still valid. 3. Your income is Halāl. Ensure that you adhere completely to the Shari’ laws of Hijāb and that your interaction with men is limited only to work related issues. And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best Mawlana Abdul Azeem bin Abdur Rahman,
