Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh Eels are a type of fish, hence, it will be permissible to eat eels. (Hidāyah, Vol.4, Pg.442, Shirkah)[1]
(Addurrul Mukhtār, Vol.6, Pg.307)[2]
(Al-Ikhtiyār, vol.5, pg.464, Darul Arqam)[3] Allamah Damiri has also concluded that eels are a type of fish. (Hayātul Hayawān, Vol.1 , pg.225 ,Dārul Fikr)[4] And Allāh Ta῾āla Knows Best
