Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh The hadith mentioned is authentic and is found in Al Saheeh Al Muslim. حدثنا محمد بن المثنى العنزي حدثنا يحيى ( يعني ابن سعيد ) عن عبيدالله عن نافع عن صفية عن بعض أزواج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من أتى عرافا فسأله عن شيء لم تقبل له صلاة أربعين ليلة “Whoever approaches a fortune teller and asks him anything, his salaah will not be accepted for forty nights.” (Al Saheeh Al Muslim V-2, P-233 Rasheediyah) And Allāh Ta῾āla Knows Best Wassalāmu ῾alaykum Ml.
