Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh It would be essential for you to first ascertain the full time you have to perform a prayer. For example, the time of Fajr and Maghrib is approximately an hour. After the time of Esha sets in, it extends for the entire night and only ends at the break of dawn. You should attain the Salaah timetable of your local area so that you could determine exactly how much time you have to perform every Salah. If you are unable to perform the prayers in the train, and there will be time when you reach your destination, then you would not have any problem. You could perform your prayers after reaching your destination. It would only take you about ten minutes to complete your Salaah; hence, you can perform it comfortably at the station etc. However, if you would be in the train for the entire time of the prayer, like the entire hour of Fajr and Maghrib, then you should perform the prayer in the train. Find out the direction of North East and pray in that direction. And Allah knows best Wassalamu Alaikum Ml. Ismail Moosa,
