Is it permissable to get a tattoo?

Answer :

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
It is not permissible for get a tattoo. Nabi  صلى الله عليه و سلم has cursed people who get a tattoo and those who make the tattoo:
 
لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ (ابو داود)
