Assalamu alaykum Sheikh my father works in the goverment . The goverment is very treacherous and has taken people rights , wealth etc. the poor needy , orphans , widows , all are suffering because the goverment doesn't help them and many aids from countries have been given to help these poor people but the goverment hasn't done a thing about it and has taken all that money itself . So all those people that work in this goverment receives salary and my father too as a adviser . Is this salary and income haram for us because the goverment has consumed people's wealth ? Also I don't know if my father works haram or not ? I know that a Muslims wealth is haram to consume no matter what but I am small and totally dependent upon my father ? I can't kill my self from hunger and thirst either because that is haram too . Am I sinning consuming his wealth due to necessity ? I have no choice please help me this is very important I don't know what to do ? How much should I eat and drink from his wealth to stay alive ? Jazak Allah khairan

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
There are two parts to your query.
One is your father’s employment in the government and the other is the corruption in the government.
Your father’s income for working in the government is Halaal. The issue of corruption is different.
It is permissible for you to benefit from your father’s income[1].
