Doubt whether Salah was Performed

Question Detail:

Assalamualaikum, I recently have been having doubts about salah and wudu, I doubt the acts of my wudu and the acts of my salah whether or not they have been done right, from there I have began to doubt whether or not I did my salah or if I completed it. 
What should I do if I doubt as to whether if I did my prayer?
I would say that I think I did my prayer but I'm not sure, that I have doubts about it. Do I take the option that is heavier? 

Answer :

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Your doubts about the validity of your wudhu and salah stem from your doubt whether you performed wudhu and salah correctly or not.
The simple solution is to follow the rules of performing wudhu and salah. If you have followed the rules, then that is sufficient. Do not entertain any doubts thereafter. Regard your wudhu and salah to be valid.[i]
